  • What is the maximum number of people per group?
The groups are capped at 12 people per date to maintain a close-knit group. The group is meant to be a private group of either people who know each other, such as friends and family, or it can be a mixed group with people who do not know each other. This way, people can meet other like-minded travelers. It might be someone traveling solo for the first time, a well-traveled couple, or friends who like to travel together. If you desire to design your own Tour in Scotland, please email:
  • Is the hotel stay included?
Yes, it is included in the price. The accommodations (mostly 4 or 5-star hotels that we love and stay at ourselves -- such as, but not limited to, Market Street Hotel, Edinburgh The George, Virgin Hotels Edinburgh, Nira Caledonia) are always included in the journey's price. The hotels we stay at provide special perks at no extra cost, including breakfast, hotel credit, early check-in/late check-out, VIP status, and others, depending on the hotel itself. We want you to be comfortable and choose only the best vacation.
  • I have my own accommodations.
That's great! In this case, we have an option called "Tour Only" that includes everything except hotel stay and airport transfer. This way, you'll still get to experience elevated travel.
  • Are the airplane tickets included in the package price?
No, airplane tickets are not included in the price of the package.
  • Are breakfast, lunch, and dinner included in the package prices?
Yes, breakfasts are included in each price package with your hotel. However, there might be times when we visit a cafe for breakfast, which you do not have to pay for. Depending on the itinerary that you purchased, some lunch and dinner meals are included, such as the Afternoon Tea experience, Welcome Dinner, and the Farewell Dinner experience as specified in your itinerary. I'd happily make any recommendations and necessary dinner reservations for you; just ask!
  • Do I have a hotel room to myself, or do I have to share?
If you book a SOLO package, you have your own hotel room. You’ll be in a shared room if you book a SHARED package. It can be purchased only if you are traveling with a partner, family member, or friend. If you prefer a separate room, the SOLO package must be purchased, even if traveling with another person.
  • I’m traveling with a friend/family member. Can we have separate beds in the same hotel room?
Yes, you can have separate beds in the same hotel room. Please, specify in the questionnaire form that you are sent to your email after booking an organized travel tour.
  • Do I need a visa or an ETA?
You do not need a visa if you are an American, Australian, Canadian, EU, EEA, and Swiss citizen. However, you will need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) if you are from any of the mentioned areas. It'll cost £10. It is a quick process and usually gets approved within 3 days. It is still in the process of being rolled out. I will update this answer as I know more. Read more here.
  • Do you provide airplane tickets?
    No, we do not.
  • Do I need travel insurance?
I highly recommend it! But it is not necessary. However, if anything is to happen to you during the trip, it is solely your responsibility, as per the agreement that you sign when booking our experiences. Some travel credit cards already include travel insurance as one of their features. I recommend checking for the details with your travel credit card provider.
